How to Find Us / Directions

We are located in the centre of Castlecomer town, within the historic Estate Yard area, and are easily accessible on foot from the town square and nearby amenities.

 

From Kilkenny CityTake the N78 north towards Castlecomer. The journey takes approximately 25–30 minutes.

From Dublin, take the M9 motorway towards Kilkenny. Exit and follow signs for Castlecomer via the N78. Continue north on the N78 until you reach Castlecomer town. Once in the town, follow signs for the town centre / Market Square. On arrival in Castlecomer, follow signs for the town centre / Market Square. The Craft Yard is located in the town centre within the Estate Yard area and is well signposted. It is also close to Castlecomer Discovery Park.

Parking

There is a main on-site car park available at Castlecomer Discovery Park, located close to the Visitor Centre and Craft Yard area.

Parking charges apply, with the first hour free:

• First 1 hour: FREE

• Up to 3 hours: €4

• All day: €5

Parking is managed by Castlecomer Discovery Park and all income supports the upkeep and maintenance of the park.
